This classic 40ft Blackwatch vessel is perfect for your idyllic Great Barrier Reef fishing adventure covering all your angling aspirations.

Based in Port Douglas, Aspro is available for Reef Fishing charters by private charter only. It is a custom-made vessel built specifically for the Great Barrier Reef conditions and is beautifully designed for daily and extended trips.
Trips can include reef fishing, light tackle fishing, Giant Trevally Popper Fishing and adventure cruising opportunities to Sand Cays, tropical islands, and private reef systems full of amazing aquatic life. Snorkelling can also be part of your day. Overnight charters can further include extending to the incredible Hope Isles, the Ribbon Reefs & Lizard Island.
With comfort, speed and great service on your side you will be amongst the serious action on offer including coral trout, giant trevally, red emperor, nannygai, Spanish mackerel amongst a host of others. The boat features include fantastic high-speed twin 450hp engines with a cruising speed of 22 knots, spacious open layout, enclosed head, air-conditioned saloon & sleeping quarters, the latest of navionics and only the very best of all fishing gear and tackle.
Your personalised trip also includes morning/afternoon tea, tropical lunch, and soft beverages. All bait and absolute high-end tackle supplied. Snorkel gear provided if requested (Diving on Application). Alcohol is BYO with eskies and ice provided. All legal catches are cleaned and conveniently bagged for you to take home.
On extended trips, further inclusions are all meals and comfortable accommodation bedding.

Charters
All daily & extended reef charters depart at 8.00am returning by 4.30pm from the Port Douglas Marina. Lizard Island, Cooktown & Port Douglas departures possible during Heavy Tackle season only.
Private Charters Only
Daily Reef / Light Tackle Trips
$3300 per day – Max. 8 pax. (available December to September). Snorkelling available on request with gear supplied.
Extended Reef / Light Tackle
$3600 per day - Max. 4 pax (available December to September minimum 2 days)
Extended Heavy Tackle
$3600 per day - Max. 4 pax (available October to December minimum 4 days). Lizard Island, Cooktown & Port Douglas departures are possible only during this period.
Please note:
- A 7 Day 100% cancellation fee applies prior to the starting time on daily charters and 30 days on extended charters.
- All trips are subject to weather.
- A 1.6% surcharge applies for credit card payments or, with notice, we can supply direct banking details which incurs no surcharge. If you wish to pay via a direct bank deposit, you will need to do so at least outside of the cancellation window stated above. You will also need to supply a screenshot of the payment confirmation for us to accept the booking.
